Snaptrip says

Rose Cottage in St. Dogmaels is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its excellent location, comfort, and well-equipped facilities. Guests appreciate the property's proximity to local amenities, beaches, and scenic walks. The cottage's spaciousness, cosy atmosphere, and thoughtful touches, such as stair gates and baby equipment, contribute to a welcoming stay. While some cleanliness issues were noted, the overall sentiment is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found Rose Cottage to be clean and inviting, with specific praise for the spotless arrival condition and fresh linen. However, a few reviews mentioned cleanliness concerns, such as showers needing additional cleaning and dust in certain areas. These appear to be isolated incidents rather than a general trend.

The location of Rose Cottage is highly regarded, with guests enjoying the proximity to Cardigan, local shops, pubs, and picturesque beaches. The convenience of being close to the West coast and various attractions, along with the friendly village atmosphere, contributes to the high rating.

Guests consistently report that Rose Cottage offers a comfortable stay, with a cosy feel, comfy beds, and a warm environment. Some guests mentioned the beds being hard, which suggests comfort levels may vary, but overall, the property is seen as a relaxing retreat.

The cottage is praised for its well-equipped kitchen, utility room, and the inclusion of baby and dog-friendly amenities. Some guests suggested improvements in organisation and maintenance, such as the cleaning cupboard and the presence of damp in one bedroom. Despite these comments, the overall feedback on facilities is positive.

Guests have noted thoughtful gestures, such as the provision of hot cross buns, daffodils, and chocolates, which added to the welcoming experience. While these gifts are appreciated, it is important to note that such personal touches, although delightful, are offered at the discretion of the owners and may not be a consistent feature.

We found that there was everything we needed to enjoy our stay and couldn’t really fault it. Thanks

Plenty of crockery and cutlery, nice soft furnishings and comfortable beds. We managed to watch Netflix and bbc iplayer but couldn’t get the free sat box to work or get normal channels, but that didn’t bother us. My only suggestion would be that it would have been nice to have had a couple of single beds instead of one of the double beds, and a wardrobe . Would definitely recommend and would love to return sometime x
