Snaptrip says

Oakleigh Cottage in Llanymynech is praised for its cleanliness, modern amenities, and peaceful location. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches like home-made cake and find the property comfortable, though some suggest it's more suitable for couples due to size. It serves as a good base for exploring Wales and Shropshire.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews noting its spotless condition and well-kept environment.

The location is frequently described as peaceful and perfect for quiet getaways, with easy access to local attractions and a lovely village setting.

Comfort is highlighted in several reviews, with guests finding the cottage cosy and welcoming. However, some guests feel the space is a bit tight for four adults, suggesting it's more ideal for couples.

While the cottage is generally well-regarded, there is insufficient information to accurately score the facilities and maintenance due to mixed feedback about the amenities provided and some guests noting the absence of certain items.

Guests frequently mention thoughtful gestures such as a home-made cake on arrival, which adds a personal touch to their stay. However, it should be noted that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed for every visit.

Even though it sleeps 3-4 people i would say it is more for 2 adults. It could do with saying where to put your rubbish as there was no dustbin outside the house we was here for almost a week with only a tiny bin in the cupboard. I would also add that places to visit and where abouts they are as recommendations would also be very good to add. We was a family of 3 with a 10 year old and every night was googling where to go what do to. First time in wales as a little get away before our baby is due. We did leave two days earlier than expected due to myself being unwell. But above all that it was lovely thank you for having us in your little cottage home. Amie

Attention to detail was spot on. Home made cake greeted us on arrival which was delicious (thankyou so much) as well as 2 Easter eggs :-) only criticism is the glass shelf above sink in bathroom.one of us suffered a nasty cut after hitting head on it whilst washing face. Lovely location. Had some lovely local walks. Lovely pub just down the road. On the whole a gorgeous bank holiday weekend. Thanyou for having us.
