Llandrindod Wells, located in Powys, Wales (within the traditional confines of Radnorshire), is a cheery and welcoming community. The town is home to a number of historical landmarks, such as elaborate Victorian and Edwardian era buildings. Towards the end of August, Llandrindod Wells hosts its annual Victorian Festival, sometimes known as "Victorian Week" among locals. Some attendees like to dress the part by donning period-appropriate Victorian, Edwardian, or other antique garb, and many stores along the main street decorate their storefront windows accordingly. A variety of annual events take place here including the Radnor Fringe Festival in Rock Park and the Radnor Hall Theatre's Live Music, Comedy, and Theatre Festival. Llandrindod Wells' lake is a Victorian relic and a famous tourist destination to this day, making it an ideal spot for a family outing. The Radnor Indoor Bowls Centre and the Radnor Outdoor Bowling Club provide a fun afternoon of bowling for residents and visitors alike. The Radnorshire Museum, the Rock Park & Heritage Centre, and the National Cycle Museum are all worth checking out if you're interested in the region's past. As you travel across Temple Gardens, don't forget to stop at the statue of Thomas Jones. Beacon Hill is a lovely 4-mile track, and The Spa Walk offers gradual slopes and the chance to taste the waters at the Chalybeate Spring in Rock Park thanks to the town's rural location. Llandrindod Wells is a wonderful destination for a relaxing and rejuvenating holiday.

We stayed for 3 nights over the bank holiday. It was clean, the furniture is comfy, there is enough in the cupboards to make your own food, it was warm and located on a beautiful hillside with a fabulous view. There are several things to do nearby and our time was filled with cycling, walking, red kite viewing and eating ice cream! There is a handy local pub, but check the opening times as it was closed on bank holiday Monday. Overall this accommodation is simple, yet smart. It has all you need and is beautifully done. We hope to return.

Very quiet area, the owners kept in touch by text as they had their hands full with lambing. Good pub 1 mile up the road. Great hot tub, welcome relief after a day's adventure. Already recommended to friends & family. Thanks for a lovely week. Tracy, Joy & Gus.

Very private lodges, there is only 4 on site but we wouldn’t have even known anyone was in them if we hadn’t of seen the cars. Cleanliness was amazing especially to say how high the ceiling is! Bed was the comfiest I’ve ever slept in. Hot tub amazing and also one of the best. Our pooch Luna loved the secure garden and was nice for us to be able to let her out knowing she was secure. Greens taxi were amazing and took our dog if you do need one and recommend the food at the crown in which is about a 10 min drive (we used the taxi). Was lovely that the owner popped in when we first got there to say hello. And the treats left for us and our dog were unexpected and amazing. Only thing we would recommend is to maybe do a welcome pack but not having one didn’t impact our stay. Would love to come and stay again :)
