Snaptrip says

Cwm Gran Meadows is a well-received cottage, praised for its cleanliness, stunning views, and peaceful setting. Guests appreciate the secure garden for pets, modern amenities, and the warm welcome, often highlighted by a thoughtful welcome pack. Some concerns are noted about the comfort of the beds and the rough access road, but these are minor compared to the overall positive experience.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently mention the property's spotlessness and the clean, well-maintained environment, indicating high standards of cleanliness.

The location is celebrated for its fantastic views and tranquillity, with easy access to local amenities and attractions. The unmade road leading to the property is a noted drawback.

While many guests find the property comfortable and well-appointed, there are several mentions of the beds, particularly the double bed and single beds, being less comfortable, which affects the score.

The property is equipped with modern facilities and amenities that guests find convenient and sufficient for their stay. Minor feedback on kitchen equipment and the access road suggests room for improvement.

The hosts are commended for their thoughtfulness, particularly for the welcome packs provided. It is noted that such gestures greatly enhance the guest experience, though they may vary and are not guaranteed.

About this property

Llanharry 1.5 miles. This delightful single-storey annexe is attached to the owners home, in an isolated position, close to the village of Llanharry and within reach of both Bridgend and Cardiff. Access to this lovely cottage is via a long track and once you arrive you will find a holiday home that exudes comfort and style. You enter this cottage via a raised decked patio with ramp access directly into the superb open plan living area. Here, you can relax whilst watching the TV after a busy day out and about, perhaps with the electric woodburner-effect stove on to provide additional warmth and whilst cooking a hearty meal in the well-equipped kitchen. The bedrooms consist of a comfortable king-size double bedroom and a twin, which has views of a paddock area, and completing the cottage is a modern shower room. Why not open the patio doors and enjoy a drink or meal on the patio on a sunny day, whilst the dogs run round the enclosed lawned garden? Llanharry, just 1.5 miles away has two pubs and a church, whilst the town of Bridgend has a shopping village, and Cardiff is well worth visiting and has something for everyone. In addition to visiting the nearby towns and cities, you can also enjoy the beaches at Porthcawl and Llantwit Major. A superb base for exploring this part of South Wales.

The village of Llanharry is situated close to the M4 motorway, between the town of Bridgend and the capital city of Cardiff. Llanharry has a church called St. Illtud, which was re-built in 1867-8, and two pubs, The Bear Inn, which was a school in the 19th century and The Fox and Hounds, known to date back to the Tudor times.

No visitor book to refer to,would have been helpful. We loved the view down the Rhonda valley, the garden was safe and enclosed for our pouch, the grass could have been cut shorter.

The holiday home was so warm and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay it was beautifully laid out and very good quality. We found it to be very clean and the beds were so comfy. The outside seating area was lovely. The listing was very good it covered everything including the very rough approach to the property, this was the only thing that was difficult to negotiate, there is a lot of pot holes. We had a lovely stay, thankyou.

The property was lovely needs a few things such as scissors some new new utensils and cooking trays also on other reviews that we looked at before goings the dirty mop is still there and they need to put in some guidelines on how to use the cooker and washing machine the road in is still very bad and be aware it is common land and the cow s and horses roam free also could do with a barbecue
