Guests generally appreciate the cottage's cleanliness, modern furnishings, and picturesque location by the river. The rear patio is a highlight, offering stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere. The property is well-situated for exploring Snowdonia, with Beddgelert's charm and amenities within easy reach. Some guests noted issues with comfort and maintenance, but these are outweighed by the overall positive experiences and the cottage's appeal.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found the cottage to be very clean, with only a few mentioning areas where cleanliness could be improved, such as cobwebs and smeary surfaces. The positive remarks far outweigh the negatives, indicating high standards of cleanliness overall.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to local amenities, stunning river views, and as a base for exploring Snowdonia. The village's friendly atmosphere and the ease of accessing walking paths contribute to the high rating.

While many guests found the cottage comfortable and cosy, some noted issues with bed and furniture comfort. The balance of opinions leans towards a comfortable experience, but there is room for improvement in this area.

The cottage is well-equipped with modern amenities and a well-provisioned kitchen. Some guests encountered minor issues with maintenance, such as heating regulation and appliance instructions, but overall, the facilities meet guests' needs effectively.

There is insufficient information to accurately score thoughtfulness. While some guests were disappointed by the lack of a welcome pack, others did not mention this aspect, and it is not clear if this is a standard offering or an occasional gesture.

Accommodation is good (decor wasnt really our taste, but livable) however, the interior was a bit tired. After lots of hiking and activities, the furniture could be more comfortable. Better quality mattresses would be nice. The single bed is very squeaky, could be heard in other bedrooms when sleeper turned over. The double mattresses were ok, but bouncy and felt cheap. Sofa and chair not overly comfy. Leak on floor of on-suit, apparently was intermittent, so owner knows about it. Wasn't pleasant to step in, in middle of the night. Only half the buttons worked on remote for sky box. Cobwebs in bedroom and dirty pans in kitchen drawer. If these things could be improved, this cottage would be brilliant. It's setting right on the river, with plenty of outside space to enjoy the views and river, walks right on the doorstep and private parking in a very busy village, is ideal. Just a bit of tlc and improved comfort would make it so much better.

The river at the end of the garden is wonderful. The fridge/freezer was off and at +22C when we arrived so allow a few hours for it to cool down before you can store chilled or frozen food. The parking area could have been a bit tricky had there been other cars there because of the iron gate posts which restrict manouvering. The beds are hard but that's a personal preference.
