To the back of The Cottage lie some immaculately kept lawns, perfect to wander in the summer months while appreciating this rural location. The charming village of Hulland Ward is just one mile away, it offers a small selection of lovely amenities with two thriving local pubs which provide home cooked food and is on the way to the fascinating market town that is Ashbourne. This traditional town is lined with stunning cobbled streets and abounds in fine eateries and has much to see and do. There is much to do nearby, lovers of the outdoors can enjoy idyllic walking and cycling throughout the glorious Peak District National Park, or perhaps try your hand at some more extreme sports on the popular Carsington Water just two miles away. A loving base from which to explore Derbyshire and all that it can offer.

Nearby Ashbourne is a market town boasting cobbled alleys, old coaching inns and a selection of restaurants.
