Visit Muncaster Castle and walk on the beach while you are here. Climb Scafell Pike, England s highest peak, 4 miles from the cottage, and head to Ambleside, 15 miles away, to shop and dine out. Open the door on to this charming cottage to find beautifully decorated accommodation. Settle in the lounge, where you can throw open the French windows on warm days to let in a cool breeze or wander out into the garden. On autumn and winter evenings lay an open fire then watch Sky TV or a DVD as it makes the whole room feel even cosier. Choose a book to read or plan the following day s activities together.
