It's the second time we've stayed and we loved it. However, we were slightly disappointed by the dismissiveness of the man sent to repair the shower drain. The upstairs shower wasn't draining correctly, to the point where it nearly flowed over the top of the base. It was only usable by one or two people in the morning. He came, plunged it for 30 seconds and said that had fixed it and said these showers are designed to drain slower than regular showers because of their plug design (I understand this, but it was definitely not normal). Alas, it wasn't fixed and the next day we had the same problem. If he'd have stayed 2 more minutes and actually checked the shower he'd have known that. Shame!

Tastefully decorated and well equipped especially in the kitchen which makes life so much easier. Beds were very comfortable too. The hose outside probably needs attention as it seems to leak at the top and reduces pressure considerably which was difficult when washing the dogs down but that’s a small matter. Only difficulty we had was exiting from the driveway. We have an estate car which is very long and because of the parking on the road outside it was extremely difficult to manoeuvre. I think it would be worth noting that in the description.

It's in an excellent location. With 7 people the heated towel rails, the alternate sitting area and outside space were all well used. We loved the house and will be booking again for next year
