The house was immaculately clean and a great base for our trips out on buses and boats. Great to have the gas stove and large TV to return to. The location is fantastic and so quiet. Feels more like home each time we visit and hope to spend many more happy weeks there in 2025

We did many hiking and paddling trips and all no further than 30 mins from Ambleside. The house layout was perfect for two families. Highly recommend.

Very good to have parking permit and extra permit for some local car parks. Heating worked well, we needed for couple of evenings. Very well stocked with sensible sized mugs, plates and cutlery. Surprised no dishwasher tablets left for us - or we did not find them. Great to have good size and screen quality TV plus DVD player and DVDs, had iPlayer but did not have eg ITVx. Main shower is very easy to use and worked well but small. All in all -super place to stay
