This fabulous contemporary penthouse is on the third floor of The Maltings, an imposing stone built property with stunning views across Budle Bay. The apartment is accessed via lift or stairs and offers a lovely bright open plan living area with shuttered windows and plenty of comfortable seating. The kitchen has everything you need and the two bedrooms are perfect for four guests. There’s outside space too, the shared garden with picnic benches for alfresco dining or a glass of wine - a lovely spot to relax on a sunny evening.
A feature of The Maltings are the three jetty cottages directly over the bay. Perfect for dining, a relaxing retreat or to watch the birds that visit Budle Bay.
The property is well located for Bamburgh’s shops, cafes, pubs and of course, the beach. Don’t miss the Grace Darling Museum and of course the iconic Bamburgh Castle. Take a boat trip to the Farne Islands to view sea birds and grey seals from Seahouses (3 miles) and Holy Island. The quiet lanes are perfect for cyclists and walkers to soak up the stunning landscapes and perhaps catch a glimpse of the remarkable array of wildlife including red squirrels, roe deer, wild goats, otters and black grouse.

Such a beautiful space in a beautiful location. Apartment was decorated wonderfully, very spacious and a very quite location. Lovely just looking into the estuary with the telescope. Apartment well equipped and had everything we needed. Will be returning.

Really nice apartment. The only 'fault' if that is how you would describe it, was that the tap in the kitchen had a continual drip, hopefully the property is not on a water meter, otherwise it could be expensive. It simply needs a new washer fitting, however it was not a problem for us..
