With a village pub and ground-floor accommodation for three guests, Finians Rainbow, resting in Boulmer, near Longhoughton, is an ideal Northumbrian getaway for a couple or group of adults. Park off-road and unpack with ease into this lovely property, making yourself at home in one of the two sitting areas, beginning with a tastefully furnished sitting room with an electric fire stove to add a countryside cottage feel, as well as accents of blue complementing vintage furniture and leather sofas. The second option is a lovely sunroom with a TV, where large windows allow in seas of light and views across the garden, as well as a second dining area ideal for family breakfast, and you can access the gravelled garden through double glass doors in the sunroom, a space with outdoor seating and pretty colourful shrubs for you to enjoy. When mealtimes call, all of your culinary needs will be catered to by a spacious kitchen with tiled flooring and many amenities. As the evening wears on, freshen up in the shower room before cosying up for the night in one of the two bedrooms, an airy double with storage and a single. The house is great and very comfortable. We all had a fabulous time, especially the dogs. The village is a beautiful place and the beach is fantastic. The owner lives next door. She is a lovely lady and made sure that we had everything we needed. No wonder she has had repeat guests for years.
