Both the comfortable bedrooms have en-suite facilities and one of them has a large access window where you can step out to a completely private balcony to take some air where there are no views other than the beautiful sky. Hartington is a popular little market town lying on the River Dove. From this village there are two major cycle and walking routes, the Tissington Trail and the High Peak Trail which meet at nearby Parsley Hay. Hartington has lots to offer with its popular real ale pubs, quaint tea rooms and old curiosity shops and duck pond. You can also visit the local cheese shop, selling its own unique Dovedale Cheese. Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are only short car drives away making this a lovely little retreat whenever you go.

The village of Hartington is situated in the Manifold Valley in the Peak District National Park. The village offers tea rooms, a Stilton Cheese factory and retail outlet, shops, traditional pubs and a market square.
