Load up the woodburning stove with some fresh logs in the sitting room on a chilly night and snuggle up on the sofa in front of the TV to rest up after a fun day. Upstairs there are two bedrooms; a king-size and a double, with the king-size affording flexible sleeping arrangements as it can be converted into two single beds thanks to the zip/link ability, all served by a compact but contemporary bathroom, including a bath with shower over. On a warm summer evening, why not take some drinks out across the lawn to the patio area and talk over the day's events while the sun goes down for a romantic moment you'll remember. You'll be spoilt for choice of things to do because of the central Peak District location; head over to Castleton, just 3 miles away, to explore one of the many caverns it has to offer, like Treak Cliff Cavern, a wonderland full of sparkling stalactites, stalagmites, and home to Blue John Stone, a rare Fluorite with Blue colours. A 10-minute car journey can bring you to Hathersage, where you will find Hathersage Open Air Heated Pool, perfect for the summer months and fun for all ages. Over in Bakewell you can explore Chatsworth House and Farmyard, home to the Duke of Devonshire, with the house containing works of art spanning 4,000 years from sculptors of ancient Rome and Egypt, to the works of Rembrandt, right up to the modern day. It goes without saying that the Peak District is a haven for walkers, so make sure to bring your boots, because the only way to experience it best is on foot. Bradwell is a village in the Hope Valley, located in the centre of the Peak District National Park. The village is home to a traditional inn called The White Hart Inn, and a few other well-established pubs, with local shops and even a Co-op for all the essentials. The Bradwell Brook flows through the village, an off-shoot of the larger River Noe further north. Being central to the Peaks, Bradwell is a fantastic location from which to explore the most popular Peak towns, such as Buxton, Bakewell, and Castleton.
