A beautiful self-contained log cabin pod situated within the village of Preston near Canterbury in Kent.

The property is ideal for short breaks for up to four people (two adults and two children) to explore the many attractions in the heart of the Kent countryside. Facilities in the self-contained pod include a full-size shower, toilet, kitchenette, microwave, mini fridge, air-fryer, ice-cube maker, LED dimmable lighting, air-conditioning (heating and cooling) television and an Alexa unit.

UK three pin 230 V socket outlets and USB outlets for personal portable equipment charging together with free Wi-Fi are included.

The Pod has a full-size double bed and an additional sofa bed for convenience. We also now have a travel cot if this is required.

Off-road parking is provided adjacent to a private access gate to the property.

Tea and coffee making facilities are provided.

The pod has a cosy outside covered seating area and a small garden with unrivaled views over the corn fields, for relaxing and enjoying stunning sunsets and birdsong late into the evening.

We moved to Preston village in 2019 and thought the view and peace and quiet were so beautiful we wanted to share it with others. We’re friendly, approachable and will be eager to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Preston Village is centrally located in Kent and is adjacent to the village of Wingham and its famous wild life park. Historical coastal towns of Sandwich, Ramsgate, Broadstairs, Margate and Whitstable are all within a 20 minute car journey.

The Pod is perfectly located between the wedding venues of Marleybrook House and Preston Court which are only a 15 minute walk away.

Facilities in the village of Preston include a local pub, Butchers, Garden Centre, Village General store and community Park with cricket matches being a weekly highlight during the summer.

Paddle boarding kayaking and river trips are available on the river Stour approximately 2 miles from the village.

Boat trips on the river Stour include day trips to Pegwell Bay for seal watching or trips to Grove Ferry and on into Canterbury.

There are multiple foot paths originating from the village with a variety of short, medium, or longer routes through the beautiful Kent countryside suitable for most abilities.
