Culverstone Green is a tranquil holiday base, offering a modest selection of amenities in a scattered layout. From here you can visit all sorts, from the unspoilt Kent Downs AONB with its wealth of opportunities for hiking, cycling and horse riding, to the ancient riverside town of Gravesend, a wonderful day out with its fine architecture and much to do. The Lodge is a wonderful place to stay in a rural Kent location.
Culverstone Green offers a choice of amenities. This area is ideal for exploring the Medway. Rochester has a castle, a cathedral and Guildhall museum. Chatham offers Upnor Castle on the river, and the historic dockyard, with maritime heritage attractions including; war ships, galleries and museums. The area has nature reserves, country parks, National Trust and English Heritage properties and Brands Hatch circuit. Within distance you can explore Canterbury. The shopping centres at Bluewater and Lakeside are within driving distance and London is a half an hour train ride away.
