Guests say

Guests consistently praise Tresawle for its cosy, homely feel and perfect location in Crantock, with easy access to beaches and local amenities. The property is well-equipped and comfortable, offering a secure garden and thoughtful touches like a Christmas tree for festive stays. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many guests returning and recommending the cottage for a memorable stay.

The property is frequently described as clean and immaculate, suggesting a high standard of cleanliness. However, a few isolated comments about tired bed linen and make-up stains slightly affect the score.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach, local shops, and pubs. The convenience of being able to walk to various attractions and the beauty of the surrounding area contribute to a very high score.

Many reviews mention the property as comfortable and cosy, with good quality mattresses and a warm atmosphere. A few comments about the need for more secure garden for dogs and a long refill time for a toilet slightly lower the score.

The cottage is commended for being well-equipped, though some reviews point out minor issues such as a small kettle, a fridge that freezes food, and a need for a lick of paint. These small maintenance concerns slightly impact the score.

While guests appreciate the well-equipped cottage and mention thoughtful touches like Christmas decorations, there is no consistent mention of gifts or special attention to guest needs that would warrant a score in this category.

The garden is fabulous a Beautiful very private sun trap with lovely garden furniture. The house has all the pots, pans and crockery necessary for a self catering holiday, I will definitely return, despite being right next door to two pubs there was no noise and both were closed by 10.30-11pm even on a bank holiday weekend, the house is set back from the road so feels very private. Lots of information to assist with local tourist attractions and restaurants

The kitchen had every piece of equipment we could have possibly wanted, lovely secure garden for our pooches - we certainly made full use of garden & bbq. Management team were a delight to contact for any questions. Cottage has clearly had a makeover and I can’t compliment it enough, it’s beautiful. All in all a great place to stay so much so have booked for 2 weeks next year and hopefully will be spending many more holidays at Tresawle in the future
