We had a wonderful time. We were celebrating 3 big family birthdays and had hired a private chef to cook for us on the Saturday evening. Louisa and co could not have been more accommodating and Russet Cottage had all the space and equipment chef needed to cook and serve a fabulous meal for 7 plus toddler. Friday night at the on site microbrewery was the perfect start to our holiday and Graham also supplied us with delicious ales for our meal. Fantastic walks all around and an easy drive to the Avalon Marshes.

One of the most well appointed ‘cottages’ we have stayed in on our travels in the UK during past 15 years. Peaceful and relaxing setting although the weather detracted from outside use. Rather too remote for my wife and her sister who are in their mid 70s and like to walk to a shop for daily provision, we had to go by car everywhere - which meant I had to drive everyday, everywhere, and I’m even older ! Never mind we had a good time getting around the local villages and eating out. Great Badgfest evening, my style of music, nearly asked for a turn on the drums, although I’m out of practice by 15 years or so.
