Guests say

Dogwood Cottage in Salisbury, Wiltshire, is generally well-received for its homely feel, good quality appliances, and dog-friendly amenities. Guests appreciate the enclosed garden and local amenities, including nearby pubs and woods. While some find the space adequate for short stays, others note the property is semi-detached with size limitations, particularly in the lounge and third-floor bedroom.

There is no specific mention of cleanliness in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide a score for this category.

The location is praised for its quiet setting and convenience for visiting Wiltshire, Dorset, and Hampshire, with easy access to local pubs and the New Forest.

Comfort receives mixed reviews; guests enjoy the homely atmosphere and comfortable beds, but some find the lounge small and the third-floor bedroom restrictive.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with mentions of good quality appliances, a well-equipped kitchen, and great facilities for electric vehicles. However, the limited seating in the lounge is a drawback for some.

There are no mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, so this category cannot be scored. Guests should note that such amenities are not guaranteed.

Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds and bedding. Nice sitting room TV area. Very friendly and helpful owners more or less next door. Decent small Coop supermarket in Downton 5 mins down the hill by car. Great wood-fired pizza van at local shops every Tuesday evening - excellent pizza. Great facilities if you have an EV. No hesitation in recommending,
