Whether you want to enjoy the walking and cycling routes from the doorstep of the property, or you want to explore further afield, The Sunset Retreat has something for everyone.
Upon arriving at The Sunset Retreat, you are welcomed by honey-coloured stone and beautiful countryside views from every angle. Stepping into the bright and airy entrance hall, you are greeted by the spacious and stylish open-plan sitting and dining area. The sitting area offers sumptuous seating, where you can cosy up together in front of the roaring wood burning stove on those chilly winter evenings or relax and enjoy a board game together, whilst the dining area offers somewhere comfortable to enjoy a romantic meal together in the evening. Leading from the sitting and dining area is the spacious, well-equipped kitchen. The kitchen offers the perfect place to prepare your favourite meal or to try your hand at making something new.
Heading upstairs from the kitchen, is the spacious hallway, where you will find a cosy place to sit and enjoy a book or to get ready for the day ahead. The cosy bedroom features a cloud-like bed, which you can sink into after a busy day exploring the Cotswolds. We've had a wonderful week here. Sunset Retreat is the nicest place we've ever stayed in! So clean and bright, and spacious whilst still cosy (especially with the log burner for the cooler Autumn evenings - what a treat!). Circular walks that we loved - Tysoe to Edgehill, Cotswold Distillery to Whichford and Great Rollright to Hook Norton. Favourite places to eat - The cafe at Whichford Pottery and the Cotswold Distillery. We thought we would be venturing further into the Cotswolds but honestly this is such a beautiful area, we didn't need to! Thank you for having us. We hope to return.

We have had such a lovely time, the house and amenities made a great base for exploring with the dog! Some lovely dog friendly adventures a short drive away. Gizmo loved visiting all the animals at the Wildlife Park, Birdland and Red. Would definitely recommend a trip to Bourton-on-the-Water for furry friends, Broadway Tower also has a nice walk and dog friendly cafe with good breakfast. Denise also ahs been very attentive. thank you for looking out for us this week!

A lovely peaceful week at Sunset Retreat. Lots of lovely places to visit in the near vicinity. Very comfortable cottage, well equipped and very clean. A welcome an refreshing break away from the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives!
