There are lots of wonderful events happening all across the UK over Easter weekend, like having an adventure with Alice in Wonderland with her friends or afternoon tea on Easter Sunday with the Easter Bunny. If you’re not sure what to do this Easter, we’ve picked out some of the best Easter events in 2022, so you can celebrate the weekend surrounded by loved ones and lots of special treats!
1. Easter at Farmer Palmers Farm Park
Best for: Seeing the baby animals
Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park in Dorset has a jam-packed schedule of easter activities taking place over the bank holiday weekend. The Easter Bunny will be hiding chocolate eggs out in the fields. Then there’ll be a chance to meet some baby farm animals and have a run around in the outdoor and indoor play areas too. The organisers have made the event specifically for children eight years and under, so there’s no need to worry about the bigger kids getting in the way while they enjoy themselves!
2. The Passion of Jesus
Best for: An immersive Easter experience
Stand in the heart of London in Trafalgar Square on Good Friday and watch the biblical story of The Passion of Jesus brought to life by 100 actors. This moving and spectacular performance is the perfect way to learn why we celebrate Easter. There are two performances to catch at 12 pm and 3.15 pm, and it’s completely free to watch.
3. Magical Easter Adventures at Tatton Park

Cheshire’s Tatton Park is putting on a number of treasure hunt trails over the Easter holiday. Events run throughout the weekend from Friday 15th April through to Easter Monday on 18th April 2022.
4. Great Easter Eggstravaganza at Marsh Farm

If you’re feeling peckish, just grab a bit to eat from one of the food and drink outlets.
5. Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt
Best for: Playing with friends and family all over the world
Cadbury has invented a whole new kind of Easter event for 2022. With their Virtual Easter Egg Hunt, you can hide a Cadbury egg anywhere in the world for friends or a family member anywhere across the globe. All you need to do is find a hiding spot on the map that means something to you and the person you’re hiding the egg for, write them a clue and send it their way. Then the hunt begins!
6. Hobbycraft Easter Workshops
Location: Online and in various stores across the UK
Best for: Getting crafty with the kids
With Hobbycraft’s Easter Workshops, you can learn a new skill or master a hobby you’ve been practising. Workshops take place online and across various stores in the UK. They’re great for getting the kids involved in something different over the Easter period.
7. Lindt Gold Bunny Hunt at Hampton Court Palace
Best for: Exploring royal palace gardens
Embark on an adventure through the palace gardens at Hampton Court Palace on a Lindt Gold Bunny Hunt. You’ll have to uncover the statues that are hiding there, and when you find one, match up the name of the character with the red ribbon on the statue. When you’ve found all of them, you can collect your very own Lindt Gold Bunny at the end!
8. Easter Trail at Tumblestone Hollow
Best for: A mystical Easter adventure
Follow the magical Easter Trail at Tumblestone Hollow and the Gardens at Stonor Park. There’ll be a family-friendly Easter-themed puzzle to solve along the way. We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate Easter with the little ones than in Henley-on-Thames.
9. Bonkers Bunny Bananza at Heights of Abraham
