What our customers say about their holidays

    • Anita - Verified booking

Lovely roomy cottage ideal for us 5 adults.

It has four bedrooms that could easily sleep 9. Kitchen dining table seats 6 and lounge can comfortably seat 6. Good kitchen with everything you need. Great base for exploring in a lovely picturesque village. Things to note...tiny slated garden no grass so not ideal for young children/dogs if you need space for them to run around, (not an issue for our lazy dog). Cant see how you could manage a bbq but has a garden table and chairs so you can sit outside. Cant park at property so a bit of a pain if, like us, you have lots of luggage. There is parking on road though so not a major issue. Wifi was good, has extender for downstairs bedroom. Has dvd player but take your own dvds as none are provided.

The cottage needs a good deep clean and needs some maintenance, especially in the bathrooms.

The consumables such as toilet paper, hand wash, washing up liquid etc were not sufficient and we ended up buying extra. Some consumables were not available at all which would be generally expected, such as a few pods for the coffee machine, a few washing tablets for the washing machine and a pint of milk in the fridge would have been most welcome to make a hot drink on arrival. On balance the king-size bed was lovely and comfortable and the bedroom nice and dark making it a good night's sleep. The location of the cottage was great providing easy access to lot's of walks and local amenities.

We chose the cottage as we wanted to be in beddgelert- the cottage is in the perfect spot.

The cottage is very small and compact but has pretty much everything you could need. It was a bit of a struggle to get it warm and cosy particularly as it was cold and wet a lot of the week we were there. There is obviously an ongoing issue with damp, and there is a serious leak on the velux which drips on to the bathroom floor whenever it rains!! Overall we had a good week- you are paying for the location though! We did find the copious amounts of laminated instructions stuck everywhere a bit hilarious!

The property suited us extremely well and we would love to return It’s exactly as we expected and our expectations were quite high We had a little trouble with accessing TV stations and generally used I player ( could be operator error) Also couldn’t figure out washing machine to spin -only for waterproofs ( no manual ) Ingresses or light in downstairs bedroom not an issue in late September All in all a very positive experience Owner very accessible and friendly Highly recommend

The shower up stairs is not as good as downstairs shower.

If someone in shower downstairs can't use shower upstairs. The grill would not come on . Eventually worked out how to turn on oven. The facilities overall good. It been helpful however to have some dishwasher tablets as well as laundry . I prefer wooden chopping board too . I however did love kitchen bed comfortable And I enjoyed open fire . Beddglert is a beautiful location and I love the walks right in the heart of Snowdonia. Nice cafes and pubs too . Had a Fabulous
