The cottage is excellent : comfortable, well-equipped, peaceful and the owners very happy to please.
However, we had no idea about the 43 steps down to the property. As we are both in our late 70s and my husband has mobility issues, before booking we checked the access with Sykes Collages both through the on-line chat and speaking to Martin directly. We were told the only steps were two or three to the front door. This totally ruined the enjoyment of our holiday. Although we had help with our luggage, from very helpful electricians working on the property on arrival and from the owners when departing, the worry about ascending and descending the steps clouded everything. We understand that representatives from Sykes visited the property several times while it was under construction, so there is absolutely no excuse for this vital piece of information being omitted from your website.

Lovely place to stay, we met Lindsey the owner who was really helpful - the accommodation was really comfortable with everything you need for a relaxing holiday, parking right outside the property.
Hele beach a few mins walk away so nice to stroll down with our little dog who absolutely loved it! the weather wasnt great but we had the best time, spent lots of time in Ilfracombe which was lovely. Pubs, cafes, shops, and beaches...And nearby Woolacombe , amazing dog friendly beach!!! and Combe martin a sweet place to visit. we ventured all over the place - Clovely, Appledore, Braunton, Croyde, and more ... and each time came back to a lovely home with a beautiful view <3 10/10

We have had a wonderful week in Yonda, a home-from-home with all we could have asked for and more.
A brilliant base for exploring all that North Devon has to offer! The house is spacious but homely and so very well-equipped! Everything has been so well thought out to ensure anything you might need is at hand. The views from the front room and garden are spectacular. Lindsey is a great host, communication up to and during our stay was brilliant and we were made to feel so welcome! We would definitely stay here again.

This is a lovely, cosy holiday home.
It has everything you could possibly need and is in a great location with beautiful views. The sun room off the kitchen is so nice. There are very steep steps up to the house but fortunately for me who has balance issues there is an alternative route down to the road in front of two other homes that is safe and fine to use. We met the owner of the first home who was very friendly. We would happily stay there again.

We had a very comfortable stay in this lovely, quaint property!
It's very spacious and the views from the patio area are beautiful. The location is perfect for a stroll to the nearest beach - which was perfect to let our dog run & swim and great for younger children to explore as it's not too big and never busy while we were there. Lots of lovely places to visit just a short drive away. The owner Lindsey is fantastic with communication and goes above and beyond to help.
