We stayed at Beren for a long weekend in November 2015 and fell in love with it - we already have a return visit planned later this year! The house is warm and welcoming with a lovely kitchen/diner and 3 good bedrooms. All the furnishings and equipment were to a very high standard and it was spotlessly clean when we arrived - the kids immediately logged on to the Wifi internet while we relaxed in the hot tub! We were also delighted to find that the house not only welcomed dogs and had a fully enclosed private garden, but the owners had also provided thoughtful 'doggy' extras such as rugs and food bowls. The cottage is located right in the centre of Croyde village and has the benefit of off-road parking (not often the case with village period properties as we've found in the past). It is also a stone's throw from a good local pub serving excellent food. A short, scenic walk takes you to Croyde Bay where dogs are allowed on the beach during the off-peak season. We particularly recommend the cliff top walk to Woolacombe with sweeping sea views across Croyde Bay.

We booked the half term week at Dreams cottage to spend some family time on beautiful Woolacombe beach, as we had not been back to North Devon for a number of years. The cottage helped make our vacation a fabulous memory! The property is very spacious and of a high standard, and the rear garden is an amazing space to chill out after site seeing or a day on the beach. The hot tub is a nice little luxury, as is the games room that has been laid out in the garage. When returning to North Devon in the future, we will definitely use Marsden's Cottages again. What a wonderful surprise. This house is everything you could want from a holiday house. It is beautifully furnished with high quality furnishings that still give a comfortable seaside holiday feel, and is equipped with everything you could need. It is perfectly laid out for easy cleaning and relaxing. The beds and linen are top quality and very comfortable. The house was spotlessly clean when we arrived and everything was easy to use. The neighborhood is quiet which made for a good nights sleep. There is a good sized garden which is nice for the children and dogs and even a hot tub and table tennis too. We simply had the best time. We will be back.

Dreams, Woolacombe Bay If you are looking for an ideal place to stay in North Devon, then Dreams is perfect. The location is ideal for not only Woolacombe Bay Beach, which is beautiful, but also Ilfracombe, Croyde, Lynton and Lynmouth, and of course Exmoor National Park. We had a beautiful stay at Dreams, 4 adults, 11 month old baby (High Chair and Cot were provided), and 2 dogs. The property was in excellent conditions, beautiful garden and hot tub, exactly as described on the website. We would definitely recommend Dreams for a holiday destination in North Devon.

Your service was very good. Good and clear communication. Only given you a 4 for 'likely to return' since I really don't know at this stage. It is highly probable. The reasons for the 4 under property are linked. There is an ariel photo of Croyde attached to the details for Hectors House which we assumed were photos of the actual property. It even says Hectors House above the photo. However it is a general picture, and Hectors House isn't even in it. That was a bit disappointing, but was made up for bu the excellence of the propery itself.
