What our customers say about their holidays

    • Mandy - Verified booking

The property was very handy to the ferry.

Close to the main shopping area and cafes etc. Our stay was in mid November when the weather was not the best. The panel heater was very effective and heated the cabin up very quickly. We would describe the cabin as compact. It had everything you needed for a self catering holiday. We appreciated the welcoming Rocky Road and oat cookies. There was a lot of moisture buildup in the cabin from the ensuite shower. The suggestion was to turn the extractor fan on and open the top half of the back door. This would be ok in warm weather but we were not going to do that in cold, wet conditions. The decking area would be good in the summer but we didn't use it.

Perfectly located cosy cabin to return to after a day exploring the beautiful Isle of Lewis.

Layout and contents have obviously been well thought out and we felt very comfortable and very much at home. We could have stayed in the super comfy bed all day. We received a starter pack of goodies which was much appreciated. Owners, Moira and Roddy, are the loveliest folks and we left reluctantly with lots of happy memories and mementoes of out time at Creed Cabin in Stornoway.

Great stay in cosy creed cabin.

Super central in Stornoway with parking. Fantastic to have its own sauna. Fully equipped with all you will need including good quality toiletries. The bed is super comfortable with extra blankets. Seating outside on the deck too for an al fresco holiday drink!

Creed Cabin is a cute compact accomodation.

Has everything you need for a short stay - no dishwasher/washing machine but the sauna was a bonus. Appreciated the home made cookies too. Plenty of shops/cafés etc within easy reach.

Callanish Standing Stones & Visitor Centre

The Callanish Stones were discovered in 1857 by landowner Sir James Matheson who saw them protruding from a peat marsh and decided to excavate them, exposing this 5000 year old stone circle moment. From a stone circle, four rows of old stones radiate outward, resembling a rough cross. A massive, 4.8-meter-tall monolith stands in the centre, watching over a stone burial kist that is tucked inside the circle. The stone circles dominate the surrounding landscape. Visitor centre offers tours and information. Calanais, Isle of Lewis, HS2 9DY
