If you’re travelling to the holiday park by car, then Clayton Bay couldn’t be easier to reach. Those coming from the South should exit the A1 at junction 47, following signs for York/Knaresborough and Harrogate (A59). At the roundabout take the first exit signposted Green Hammerton/York (A59). Carry on past the Poppleton & Wyevale Garden Centre, taking the first exit at the next roundabout for Scarborough/Thirks and York North (A1237). Continue on the A1237 before taking the first exit at the roundabout onto North Lane. Follow North Lane until turning left at the T junction for Scarborough and Malton (A64). Pass through Rillington and Sherburn and take the second exit at the roundabout, following signs for Bridlington and Filey (A1039). Turn left onto Carr Lane and follow this road before turning left at the T junction onto Mill Lane. Turn right immediately after passing Cayton Jubilee Hall on your right-hand side, follow this road until you reach Cayton Bay Holiday Park. For those reaching the park by public transport, the nearest train station is in Seamer - approximately eight minute’s drive from the park. The closest bus stop to the park is a few minute’s walk away on Mill Lane. The 12, 13 and 555 all stop here, connecting the park with Bridlington, Scarborough and Filey.
