Situated right next to the sea and the beautiful St Bees beach and surrounded by the dramatic rolling Cumbrian countryside, Seacote Park is the ideal place for an away from it all holiday. There is a beach shop and café adjacent to the park and nearby there is a 9 hole golf course. The sea cliffs are home to an RSPB bird reserve and the start of Wainwright’s Coast to Coast walk. The award winning village of St Bees has an 11th century priory and a general store and indoor swimming pools are at the nearby towns of Egremont and Whitehaven. The Georgian towns of Whitehaven and Cockermouth are within easy driving distance, the Lake District National Park is 6 miles away and Muncaster Castle and the Ravenglass-Eskdale Miniature Railway are 14 miles away. The village has a small indoor swimming pool which is being privately run within St Bees school and there is a new children’s playground with age appropriate areas next to the site.
