Or else head out into the beautiful countryside of Pembrokeshire for a relaxing ramble. The park itself is beautiful and well-kept, with an abundance of colourful shrubs and stunning hanging baskets adorning the grounds. After a hard day of exploring, sit back and unwind on the sun-kissed drinks patio. With a view of raised flower beds and plants surrounding you, this special spot is as picturesque as it is peaceful. Come evening, you can enjoy a home-cooked dinner or takeaway in your cosy caravan. Or else head out to The Stars Clubhouse for a delicious dinner and evening of live entertainment. However you choose to spend your time at Sunnyvale, one thingâs for certain: youâll have plenty of time to relax, recharge and reconnect as a family.
Sunnyvale Holiday Park is an easy spot to reach, whether youâre driving or travelling by public transport. Those driving from the South of the UK should follow the M40 before turning onto the M6 Toll road. Follow the M6 Toll for around 75 miles before exiting onto the M56 towards Chester/Runcorn/N Wales at junction 20. Keep right to continue on Bypass Rd/A494 and follow this road for seven miles. Continue onto the N Wales Express Way/A55 and follow it for 18 miles. Once you reach junction 27, take the exit towards Llanelwy/St Asaph/Rhyl/A525 and follow signs for the park. If youâre planning on reaching Sunnyvale Holiday Park by public transport, then youâll find the nearest train station to the park in the town of Saundersfoot. From here, itâs a 25-minute walk or 4-minute drive to the park. However, there are rarely taxis around the station, so itâs best to book one in advance or else get off at Tenby station where youâll find taxis waiting. Furthermore, a local bus service stops right outside the park entrance and travels between the towns of Saundersfoot and Tenby two times an hour during the summer months. This regular bus service means that you can easily get out and about in the surrounding area without a car.

When the night falls, itâs time to settle down for some shut-eye in your charming holiday home. With the choice of 53 caravans across the site, youâll be sure to find the ideal one for you. If youâre feeling luxurious, then you can opt for your own private hot tub too. Those travelling with a dog will find plenty of pet-friendly accommodation options at Sunnyvale. Although itâs best to note that your pet will need to sleep on a blanket or basket supplied by you, as the park wonât include these in the caravan.
The park is just over a mile from the pretty little seaside town of Saundersfoot, where youâll find plenty of stunning beaches and a convenient carpark adjacent to the main beach for those who are driving. The town also has a lovely harbour area and plenty of restaurants, cafĂ©s and bars to explore. The town of Tenby is just a ten-minute drive from the Sunnyvale Holiday Park and also offers picturesque stretches of sandy shoreline. Lauded as the âprettiest seaside town in Walesâ by some, this scenic spot is famous for its 13th-century walls and the ruins of Tenby Castle that overlook the harbour. Youâll also find the Tenby Museum and Art Gallery here - a great option for a drizzly day. Manor Wildlife Park is also just ten minutes away from the park and makes for a great family day out. Gaze at an array of exotic animals, including lemurs, gibbons and tigers, and take part in the bug handling or pig walk demonstrations. For those who like their animals cute and fluffy, the park has giant rabbits who just love being cuddled. If one animal park just isnât enough for the kids, then Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo is also just a stoneâs throw away. This fantastic farm is actually rated as the 10th best zoo in the entire world on TripAdvisor and is well worth a visit. With a zoo, farm animal barn, fairground and adventure playground on-site, thereâs enough at Folly Farm to keep the kids occupied all day long. In fact, weâre certain theyâll never want to leave. If youâd like to get out and stretch your legs, then take the family on a hike along part of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. One of the UKâs National Trails, this pretty path winds its way through 186 miles of rugged Welsh coastline, passing by secret coves and pristine beaches along the way.
