When night begins to fall and tummies start to rumble, head to one of the park’s onsite eateries for a tasty dinner all together. Choose from an array of delicious family favourites at The Sitting Duck or else opt for a fish and chip supper from Cook’s fish and chip shop. If you’d prefer to cook for yourselves, then head back to your cosy caravan and make use of the well-equipped kitchen there.

If you happen to be struck by a rainy day, then the town’s SEA LIFE aquarium and the Time and Tide museum are both great options. If you want to feel like a giant for the day, then pay the Merrivale Model Village a visit. Here you can wander along tiny streets and pint-sized houses, past miniature gardens and on towards a tiny little castle. Just a 20-minute drive away from the park, this promises to be a fun-filled outing for everyone in the group, no matter how old or young! If you have an animal lover in the family, then Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens is a great spot to visit. One of Norfolk’s top zoos, the hall is home to a very special family of rare animals from all across Asia. The kids will love meeting tigers, red pandas, snow leopards and meerkats at this magnificent wildlife park. What’s more, with a great cafe, lovely gardens and an array of play areas at Thrigby Hall, you can really make a proper afternoon out of it. Keen hikers will be happy to hear that the Norfolk Broads is the perfect spot for walking. Home to over 190 miles of lovely trails and with an array of walks to suit all fitness and ability levels, you’ll be able to get out and explore this incredible landscape all together. Just 1.5 miles long and with some of the best views in the Broads, Burgh Castle Walk is a great option for an easy-going countryside ramble.
