Getting to Woodland Park Lodges
From Shrewsbury: Take the A495 towards Ellesmere. On entering Ellesmere, you will pass the mere on your right hand side. At the roundabout, turn right signposted Overton/Wrexham (A528) and continue straight through the town passing the Fire Station on your right. *Where the 40 speed limit ends, there is a road to the right signposted Penley with a red post-box on the corner. There is also a sign here for the Birch Caravan Park. Turn right into this road and continue for approximately 1 mile. **Follow the road until you come to Lions Lane on the left, turn into Lions Lane and Woodland Park Lodges & Camping Huts is first on the left. Follow the road and you will come to the reception on the left (Please note there is no access through ‘Park Hall Farm’).
From Oswestry: Take the A5 towards Shrewsbury and exit onto the A495 towards Whittington. Continue straight until you reach Ellesmere. At the Business Park roundabout continue straight to the town centre, continue straight again over another small roundabout towards Shrewsbury. At the third roundabout take a left signposted Overton/Wrexham (A528) and continue straight through town passing the Fire Station on your right. *Then follow directions as above.
From Wrexham: Take the A525 towards Whitchurch. Turn right onto the A528 towards Ellesmere. Pass through Overton continuing towards Ellesmere. Just before the outskirts of Ellesmere where the speed limit reduces to 40mph, there is a left hand turn with a fingerpost pointing to Penley. Turn left into this road and continue for approximately 1 mile. **Then follow directions as above.
