The birthplace of Winston Churchill, the iconic Blenheim Palace was used as a hospital for soldiers during WW1 and as lodgings for evacuated pupils for a year during WW2. The interiors are a masterpiece of Baroque architecture and the surrounding grounds and park were beautifully landscaped by Capability Brown.

    Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway

    Wind your way through stretches of stunning countryside on a traditional steam train. The friendly drivers at Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway will take you on a seven and a half-mile round trip. It will then stop briefly on Platform 4 at Princes Risborough station, before heading back to Chinnor again. What’s more, well-behaved dogs are welcome on the trains and even get to travel for free.
