Windsor

Reading
Stay in the heart of the action in the bustling town of Reading, just 30-minutes away from LEGOLAND®. One of the largest towns in the UK, you’ll find an array of shops, cafes, museums and restaurants here, perfect for a family-friendly weekend away.
Slough
Given a bad rep over the years, the town of Slough is actually up-and-coming nowadays. Just ten minutes away from the resort, and with some interesting postmodernist architecture, it might be worth giving Slough a chance.
High Wycombe
With an elegant Georgian High Street and plenty of cosy cafes, little shops and snug pubs, you’ll find High Wycombe a welcome retreat, just 30-minutes away from all the noise and madness of LEGOLAND®.
Maidenhead
Set on the banks of the River Thames, Maidenhead boasts lovely parks, pretty locks and a bridge designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel himself. What’s more, with over 300 shops in town, you’ll have plenty of opportunities for shopping during your stay.

Windsor Castle
Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest castle in the world to still be occupied and has been the family home of British kings and queens for over 1,000 years. Whenever she’s not at Buckingham Palace, you may very well catch the Queen here. Just take a close look at the flag flying from the Castle’s Round Tower, if it’s the Royal Standard then that means Her Majesty is at home.
Hounslow Urban Farm
Make friends with cute farmyard animals at Hounslow Urban Farm. Covering over 29 acres of land, you’ll be able to meet pigs, goats, cows, rabbits, geese, alpacas and even peacocks at this lovely urban farm. What’s more, if the kids want to get even more hands-on then they can learn a bit more about life on the farm, handle an owl and set off on a pony ride.
Hampton Court Palace
A beautiful old palace, full of grand rooms, beautifully landscaped grounds and the famously haunted gallery, all the family will enjoy a trip to Hampton Court Palace. Home to some of England’s most infamous monarchs, the whole palace is steeped in history, treachery and intrigue. Wander the stunning grounds, be dazzled by a replica of King Henry VIII’s crown and get lost in the most famous maze in the whole world.
Thorpe Lakes Aqua Park
Any water babies in the group will just love a trip to Thorpe Lakes Aqua Park. The best aqua park in the UK, the whole family can take on an extensive inflatable assault course set in the picturesque St Ann’s Lake. If the kids still haven’t had enough excitement, then there’s also banana boating and a range of water sports available at the park. This is the perfect spot for a sunny summer’s afternoon.
Thorpe Park
If you haven’t been to Thorpe Park, then you really need to go. And if you have been, you’ll know just how good it is and want to go again. Home to the UK’s fastest rollercoaster, which launches riders to a jaw-dropping 250ft at 80mph in just 2.5 seconds, the UK’s only winged coaster and SAW - The Ride, the world’s first horror rollercoaster, this theme park is the ultimate spot for thrill-seekers all over the country.
