If you’re travelling to Windsor Castle by car, leave the M4 at junction 6 onto the southbound A355. For parking, you’ll find multi-storey and open-air car parks as well as a 74-space coach park in Windsor town centre. These car parks are less than a 10-minute walk from Windsor Castle.
If you’re travelling by train, there are two train stations near Windsor Castle. Windsor & Eton Castle train station is a 6-minute walk from the castle and Windsor & Eton Riverside train station is 8 minutes.

After royal Windsor, we’d highly recommend Slough. A 12-minute drive from the castle and ideal for outdoorsy folk, explore pretty gardens in Farnham Common and boat rides across the River Jubilee.
