The property is lauded for being well-equipped and thoughtfully designed, with plentiful toiletries, local maps, and a hamper. The gardens and maintenance are also commended, though one guest's desire for a draining rack and mop suggests a slight deduction from a perfect score.

Perfect for a romantic escape, this sensitively converted former cheese press is located on the edge of the Cotswolds in the popular village of Eckington and set within wonderful private gardens at the base of Bredon Hill. Guests will love the relaxed and stylish accommodation which is in the perfect location for exploring the unspoilt beauty of Worcestershire and the Cotswolds.
The accommodation has been fully modernised and finished to a very high standard with reclaimed wooden flooring throughout and underfloor heating. It still retains some of the original features such as exposed stonework and beams in the sitting room and on the first floor. The sitting room has an inviting wood burning stove, making it a warm and cosy place to relax in. French doors lead from the sitting room to a beautiful private garden where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine in the peaceful setting. Head up to the first floor to find the tastefully decorated bedroom with a super-king size bed which has the flexibility of converting to twin single beds if required, along with a beautiful free-standing bath tucked away in a romantic alcove with soft back-lighting, in addition to the modern en-suite shower room.
Eckington is the perfect base for exploring the unspoilt countryside of Worcestershire and the Cotswolds whether on foot or bicycle, and there are plenty of walks close by suitable for all levels of ability. Take a five minute stroll into the village where there is the choice of two pubs along with a village shop, perfect for purchasing those essential items. The Dairy is also very conveniently located for the Eckington Manor Cookery School.
The peaceful village of Eckington is less than 15 miles from beautiful Broadway, often referred to as the 'Jewel of the Cotswolds', packed with independent traders, tea rooms, pubs, shops, art galleries and restaurants. Broadway Tower, situated on Broadway Hill, is the second highest point in the Cotswolds and offers panoramic views and rural country walks. A little further afield are the popular destinations of Stratford-upon-Avon and Cheltenham, both under an hour’s drive away.
