Invisible to passers-by and surrounded by countryside Ewe Cub Barn at Grove Farm is a Cotswold gem. The barn is located at the end of a private, tree lined drive and tucked in a corner of the traditional cotswold yard. Tastefully renovated to an immaculate standard mixing contemporary touches with classic Cotswold features. Together these provide a very high quality of self catering accommodation which has been carefully improved and maintained keeping it 'tip -top' - and we're sure you will agree. Views across the farm are almost uninterrupted - bar the horses. The location is perfect for touring the Cotswolds or popping into Oxford. Inside the barn is absolutely spotless, presented to a very high standard, attractive and spacious and equally perfect for two or four people. The owners are delightful and helpful yet discrete so you can sit in peace or get the hot tips on the nearby places to see!
Minster Lovell is a village and civil parish in West Oxfordshire on the River Windrush. It is popular for its ruin Minster Lovell Hall, famed for allegedly being the place the ninth Lord Lovell’s remains were found in an underground room. It is often visited now for picnics by the river or long walks through the surrounding meadows, as well as the dovecote nearby. It has several local county inns, including The White Hart and the Old Swan which provide excellent food and real ale. There are public footpaths that cross the field to the parish church or across the river to a small weir where local children often go to swim. Nearby attractions include the Cotswold Wildlife Park and Kilkenny Lane Country Park, both within a short driving distance. Minster Lovell is located 4 miles west of Witney and 2 miles east of Carterton.

The property is immaculately clean and very well maintained by the family on Grove Farm. We received a nice welcome on arrival from Fern and the barn had a nice welcome pack to allow you to have a hot drink on arrival. The property was exactly as per the photos and sits in a beautiful farm courtyard with a secure gate on the road to it. The barn is well equipped with everything you could need on your stay. The location is an operating farm with various animals including 2 charming small dogs who are keen to visit, free range chickens and sheep that add to the rural experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Grove Farm Cottages to anyone wanting to stay in the Cotswolds and thanks to Fern and her family for being such friendly hosts.

Very comfortable house with everything you need to have a relaxing stay. Warm welcome by the family living at the farm, and providing all the help you might need. The property is beautifully located in the countryside and it is ideally suited to explore the Cotswolds, with easy to reach places such as Blenheim, Stratford, Oxford. Some GPS trackers may have trouble finding the property, but the travelling instructions provided are clear and once you have arrived you can find your way back easily. In summary, a wonderful place to be and ideal to start your Cotswolds holiday.
