The village (also known as Woolfardisworthy) is a small thriving community, centred around the historic Norman church and the Farmers Arms pub. Newcroft is situated in the centre of the village, beside the village school. It is an ideal place to experience Devon village life and a wonderful base to explore the spectacular coast and countryside in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Inside the property, there is a bright and spacious lounge/diner offering plenty of room for family meals and a comfortable space to relax in front of the wood burner when the evenings turn cooler. And for days out, the stunning coastal landscape around Bucks Mills, Hartland and Clovelly – all within 7 miles. Clovelly is a beautiful village where a steep climb down a cobbled street, dotted with shops, takes you to a lovely harbour – there are also a couple of good pubs too. The property gives easy access to wonderful coastal walks, picturesque coves and the beautiful rolling countryside as well as being close enough to venture into Cornwall. You are also within reaching distance of many local attractions that will suit both young and the young at heart including beautiful gardens such as RHS Rosemoor, (14 miles) family attractions such as the Milky Way and The Big Sheep (3 and 8 miles respectively) as well as the large surfing beaches of Westward Ho! & Bude (10 and 17 miles).
