The beautifully restored 200 year old detached cottage is situated on a small, peaceful, working farm with hens, geese and ponies in the paddock. On hot summer days - when you have tired of sitting in your sun-trap patio - the climate control air-conditioning in the cottage is a welcome relief; or relax in the Shepherds Hut with a good book. The living-area is open-plan and comfortably-furnished throughout, with long country views from all windows. Despite its secluded location, The Bothy is close to the picturesque country town of Cranbrook, and Tenterden with its varied mix of restaurants, shops, pubs, coffee shops and leisure centre. Ideally situated for visiting the many National Trust properties: Sissinghurst and Bodiam, the famous gardens at Great Dixter and the vineyards at Biddenden. With Angora goats to pet and space to roam, this is the perfect holiday for all the family to enjoy. Guests are invited to enjoy the owner's private wood and property or relax in the shepherd's hut.
