Glenmore Cottage is a traditional stone built terraced Lakeland cottage built over 100 years ago, ideally situated close to the centre of Ambleside within a short level walk of all the varied facilities the town has to offer and yet retaining a peaceful location for a relaxing holiday.
Numerous walks from the doorstep are available, whether it’s a short stroll to Rothay Park or Lake Windermere, or a more ambitious walk into the fells are all accessible without the need of a car.
Glenmore Cottage offers superb, comfortable accommodation for up to four guests with many modern facilities in a traditional setting. Great location. Parking a little tight but okay. Games room cramped, would be better to remove Table tennis and put proper Pool table in its place

A very comfortable house in a really central location. We particularly liked the very comfortable bed! The house has everything we needed and was warm and comfortable. The parking space at the rear was very useful as parking spaces on the road were at a premium. However it would not be easy to get a large car to the rear of the property. It was a real bonus to have the table tennis table in the basement, especially as the weather was challenging: Storm Amy greeted us on arrival! Ambleside is a lovely little town and finding different places to eat and drink was easy. Overall we had a great stay in Glenmore despite the weather.
