In a quiet convenient location close to the town centre, The Gardens offers a peaceful base from which to explore the many attractions of this historic town. Comfortably furnished and centrally heated throughout, the cottage has a pretty garden and patio to relax on warmer days and evenings after a day walking and touring this beautiful area of Yorkshire. Skipton is host to many events throughout the year, and has a good range of individual shops, bars and restaurants, a swimming pool, leisure facilities and a golf course. Take a stroll along the cobbled alleyways with many leading to the canal basin where a leisurely boat trip can be taken. The Gardens is ideally placed for visiting the many places of interest with Grassington, Burnsall and Bolton Abbey offering riverside strolls and pretty picnic areas.

2nd visit and already booked for next year in a perfect location and private parking a huge bonus our host was there to greet us very pleasant didn't hassle us but was on hand if needed

Amazing, I have stayed a few times and love this cottage. Really comfy bed,nicely tucked away even though your in centre of town. The royal shepherd pub is fantastic which is just round the corner dont have to drive anywhere theres loads of other pubs etc , really lovely. Central for if you want to travel for days out eg Malham, Grassington, Settle, Harrogate and lots more, you can go on canal boat trips and you could throw in a coach day trip with Bobby's of ingleton coaches , some of the trips pick up and drop off in skipton. And then you could take a train trip to Leeds, Carlisle, morecombe etc Try it and see for yourself.

A very comfortable Cottage within 5 minutes walk of Skipton town centre. Local Supermarket and all amenities are within walking distance, even for us Oldies! Had a very enjoyable stay here and hope to return at some point.
