Please note: There are 5 steps to the patio.. Barjols Cottage is a charming and traditional cottage in the small village of Lamington. Located south of Biggar and placed with excellent road links via the M74 motorway, this semi-detached property provides a superb base for enjoying the attractions of south and central Scotland. Sleeping four adults comfortably in two bedrooms (one double and one twin/superking) there is also a shower room and a living/dining room, which is complimented by a wood burner, which will be well used with it being Scotland. A large mounted TV finishes the room and will be perfect for a lazy evening in front of a movie. The kitchen is very well equipped and has a breakfast area overlooking the attractive rear garden. The property has been thoughtfully furnished throughout, making guests’ stay upper most in the owner’s minds. Shop and restaurant 6½ miles and pub 6 miles.

The cottage has such a lovely comfortable feel. Cosy, great log burner, well equipped and a fabulous garden which was perfect for our dog. A great location for hill walking and cycling, many of which were from the door. We had a very enjoyable stay and I would love to return.

A week stay at the end of February myself and my 6 month Border Whippet called Jed Doing a bit of a late winter tour including Lakes/Cumbria/South Lanarkshire This was the 7th property we’ve rented since Boxing Day and had the best Secure garden I love the location only 8mins from Abington services and M7430 mins to Lanark Loch for the dog walking and easy access south tooThe cottage is superb and I have booked again for end of April
