The cottage was a lot bigger than it seemed on the photographs. It was well appointed comfortable and clean. The location was excellent with a shop, pub and fantastic walks nearby. The only grumble is that we could not get the radiators in the bedrooms to work. It was not a massive issue as the duvets were thick and kept us cosy but it was a bit chilly if you had to pop to the loo in the night.I would stay again but maybe take some slippers and bed socks

It was great, overall and we'd like to rebook in a while. A few niggles like the locks on front and back doors, were both tricky, and at least 6 of the plates/dishes were chipped. I had to refill the soap dispensers in the kitchen and bathrooms which was fine but unexpected. It appears some of these niggles have been raised before by others. It would help if there were some casseroles or other microwavable cooking items which had lids. There was only one large one. There was far too much cooking stuff otherwise. Please address locks and plates. Its not great after travelling a long way to find it so tricky to get the locks to open (I don't mean the key box on the wall) I didn't find the spare towels until we packed to leave. My fault. The TV and internet were great, also the dishwasher. The boiler's got a sticker on it saying to service in 2025 but I assume its been done. Maybe remove the sticker or replace it. The cottage was pretty, warm and comfortable. Not as pristine as in the photos but that's fine, its been used well which is good.
