This was a last minute booking for us and what a great find it turned out to be. The cottage is really cosy and clean. The kitchen is well equipped. The shower is great too. The double bed is super comfortable and we had 7 great night's sleep! The parking place is a welcome bonus in the centre of town. No need to use the car whilst you're there as there are plenty of walks from the door, or a bus ride away. The owners Gillian and Martyn were very helpful and replied promptly when we had a question to ask. We would definitely stay in this lovely cottage again.

I had a lovely week staying in this cottage. It is a lovely cosy cottage and it was nice and warm during the chilly evenings, especially liked the gas fire. The bed was very comfortable and I slept like a log! Great to stay at a property that has a good parking space directly opposite and the space was a good size for my car. The only thing that spoiled my stay a little was the boy racers flying past the cottage in the evenings, not the fault of the cottage but Ambleside definitely has a problem with speeding boy racers which needs to be addressed.
