About this property
A lovely and welcoming semi-detached cottage with wonderful garden, Marigold Cottage is situated in Reydon. Just a short walk or drive from the Southwold coastline.
Marigold Cottage is in a great spot, stroll along the footpath at the back of the property and on to Southwold North Beach, perfect for a family holiday beside the sea.
This pretty, traditional brick built cottage is beautifully kitted out with two comfortable bedrooms on the first floor and living, kitchen, dining room and bathroom on the ground floor. The kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm (alternatively you could of course, head into Southwold and dine out at one of the fabulous cafes, pubs or restaurants). The living room is very comfortable with a lovely feature fireplace, cream leather sofa, armchairs, and a Smart TV. The separate dining room is a welcome addition with farmhouse table and chairs, you can relax and enjoy breakfast or an evening meal away from the hustle and bustle of the kitchen. Marigold Cottage has the added bonus of a large garden, mainly laid to lawn, this is a great spot for children to play and let of steam, the owners will also let you take your dog so there’s no excuse!
Pretty Marigold Cottage is perfect for getting out and about and exploring this delightful seaside town - just a short walk to the sea and the picturesque pastel beach huts. Stroll along the upper promenade, beautiful at any time of year. The town’s individual shops, cafes, delis and restaurants are all on hand too - perfect for a coffee and cake while indulging in a little retail therapy. A visit to Southwold wouldn’t be complete without heading off to the pier, dating back to the 1900’s, it was originally built as a landing point for the steamships which use to stop off at the town. Don’t forget to visit the lighthouse - this distinctive landmark at the centre of the town has been guiding vessels into the historical harbour since the late 1800’s. At the end of a busy day, what could be better than relaxing in the private courtyard with a beer or a glass of wine… perfect!
