Had a 3 night stay at Lilac Lodge with my dog. Quiet location with added private field to let dog loose. Very comfortable and well equipped lodge with added extras such as large selection of books, games, dvd's and Xbox to keep travellers entertained. Secure parking to the frontage and a few miles from the forest. Would consider 2nd visit as very dog friendly.

Great little cottage in which to get away from the hustle and bustle. The cottage has everything you could need whilst you are away for a few days. It is set up in the hills, away from the main road and nice and quiet. The property is well maintained and very clean. The main bed is huge and so comfortable. We took our 2 dogs with us and the property is really dog friendly, even down to towels and a Mud Daddy for you to use whilst you are there. Really nice touch. It is set in a really accessible area for visiting the Forest of Dean and surrounding areas. Thank you and hope to return again if we are in the area.
