This charming detached cottage is peacefully located 100 yards down a leafy unmade lane opposite miles of NT heath and woodland, perfect for walking. An ideal base for discovering the delights of the south. Within easy reach are Chichester, Farnham, Guildford, Portsmouth, Winchester, Isle of Wight and London (about 1 hour by train). Numerous attractions to discover include Jane Austen’s 17th century house, Mid Hants steam railway, Selborne, Bird World, Uppark, Weald and Downland Open Air Museum and Hollycombe steam collection. We loved our stay at the cottage. The description was just how it was. We didn’t need a dishwasher , we didn’t need fancy coffee machines so all good for us!The cottage was lovely and warm and the fire a treat.All bedding and towels fine too.The only thing I would ask was the bath and shower.I know it’s an old cottage but the bathroom could do with an update…. That’s allWe loved all decor and everything was in the kitchen we needed. WiFi was great.Great for dog walking and the garden was lovely too for our two dogs.Nice touch to still have Christmas decorations up too. Thank you.Would love to come back in the spring summer tooThe bathroom hasn’t put us off!Thank you , such a lovely stay we had **
