Yare Cottage is highly praised for its beautiful setting and cleanliness, with guests enjoying the local amenities and the picturesque views of the broads. The well-equipped kitchen and comfortable living areas are appreciated, as is the thoughtful welcome basket. Some minor suggestions for improvement include updating the mattress and adding a dishwasher.
Guests consistently mention the cottage being clean and well-presented, with only a minor comment about cobwebs externally suggesting room for improvement.
The location is described as stunning and prime, with easy access to local amenities and beautiful views, making it a favourite for many.
The living areas and bedrooms are noted as comfortable and clean, though one guest suggested that the mattress in the second double room could be improved.
The cottage is well-equipped, particularly the kitchen, but guests have suggested the addition of a dishwasher and a larger airer or washing line for convenience.

I had a lovely and relaxing stay at Yare Cottage. It is comfortable, clean and well appointed. The village has cafes, pubs, a shop and a fish and chip shop. There are walks from the front door and it is 20 minutes to Norwich from the train station in the village. You can watch marsh harriers from the front windows. Tony the owner was very responsive.

Nice & relaxing watching the boats on the river. Easy access to Beccles & Loddon via the ferry to catch bus to Lowestoft & beyond and Norwich & beyond. Excellent fish & chip shop just up the hill behind the cottage and general store.

Back from a fantastic week at Yare Cottage. We were blessed with sunshine everyday which I appreciate makes such a difference when on holiday. However, we were able to eat al fresco every mealtime and make use of the lovely seating area in the front garden. The cottage is well equipped with everything you could need in the kitchen and games and puzzles for the children. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and much appreciated. We opted to have a food delivery to the cottage which made life easier as the nearest supermarket was a few miles away. Reedham has two small shops, so we were able to replenish milk and bread during our stay. There are places to eat in Reedham with two pubs in walking distance and two cafes, should you so wish to eat out.Constructive points. The cottage would benefit from a dish washer, it would be nice when on holiday not to wash up, however I understand that the space does not easily allow for this. The mattress in the second double room was not very comfortable, and maybe something the owners need to look at. We would also have liked a washing line in the back garden. An airer was provided, but was not big enough for 6 people if bringing back wet beach towels etc. from days out. These points I hope will be viewed constructively and are by no means criticisms. We all had a super week and I've had serious holiday blues since returning home.We will definitely return to Yare Cottage. Thank you so much for your hospitality.
