This property is located just one mile from the town of Sturminster Newton and yet enjoys a quiet location surrounded by fields. This pretty market town sits on the River Stour and offers a good range of shops and eateries as well as some interesting architecture, including the sixteenth century watermill and a picturesque six-arch bridge, the inspiration behind a poem written by the town’s famous former-resident Thomas Hardy. The area around the town has much to offer visitors, including the towns of Shaftesbury and Dorchester, the magnificent Cerne Abbas Giant, Lulworth Cove beach, and the iconic limestone arch of Durdle Door.

When arriving at this contemporary detached annex, enter through a hallway, turning left into the kitchen/living/dining room. The lounge area with its 2 sets of double French doors overlook the outside area and paddock. The room boasts 2 double sofa sets, one double for watching TV and one double set for general relaxation a dinning table seating 6-8 people and a small games football table. The open doorway leads to the kitchen area, which offers an oven, hob, microwave, fridge (stand-alone freezer can be found in the cupboard under the stairs), dishwasher and washing machine. Continuing down the hallway you will find a ground floor King bedroom. On the first floor of the property, there are 2 further bedrooms. The first of these is a spacious master suite with a King bed and an en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. The second bedroom is a restful King or twin room with 2 x smaller sized 2’6” beds. Completing this floor is a bathroom with shower and WC, there is also a WC on the ground floor.

Outside there is a patio area with bench style table and seating which overlooks the enclosed paddock just across the driveway and a BBQ available on request. There is parking for three cars.
