Lovely to see the horses trotting past every morning. Kitchen was kitted out with lots of utensils, pans etc and nice to find milk in the fridge when we arrived. House was warm at all times and owners kept in touch. Perfect mini break away.

Great information pack sent by the owners before we arrived - the directions made it really easy to find the back lane entrance to load and unload, and we had no issues finding parking on the square. Middleham has some great pubs, a handy village shop, a chippy, a couple of antiques shops, and a wonderful tea rooms. The cottage was very clean, warm and comfortable, and it was lovely to sit and watch all the horses passing through the village. There are some easy local walks, and lots to see and do if you want to explore the area. We hope to revisit soon.

Cottage wasnât very clean in our eyes, towels were very hard, carpets and rugs looked very dirty, baking trays seem very old and not very nice to cook your bacon on, sadly we would not return to this cottage.
