Boasting a contemporary interior, surrounded by glorious countryside, this is an ideal base for guests wishing to explore one of the most popular villages in Yorkshire. Upon entering, be greeted by a lovely cloakroom with a downstairs toilet, the perfect place to store muddy boots after long walks, whilst the sleek kitchen/diner is amply-equipped with high-quality fixtures and an immaculate finish adds a true touch of class. The warm and snug sitting room is exceptionally furnished with plush sofas and a stunning woodburning stove, it is an idyllic place to relax after a busy day exploring the Yorkshire Dales. The double bedroom at Park Grange Cottage is a beautiful space with stunning interiors and high-quality linens, fitted wardrobes, plenty of drawer space making this an ideal romantic sanctuary, whilst the equally well-presented twin room also comprises fitted wardrobes and benefits from a quaint window seat overlooking the picture-perfect village green. The upstairs is completed with a sleek shower room, featuring a superb walk-in shower, complementing the elegant décor of this brilliant cottage. Outside there is a patio area at the front where you can unwind with a refreshing glass of wine. Threshfield is a lovely little village and you can find the local Spar only a short stroll away, with a handy local butcher and deli counter, meaning you are never too far from any necessities. The nearest pub can be found in the nearby village of Linton, which has a welcoming atmosphere, a hearty menu, and local ales. It is just a short 15-20 minute walk or 5 minute drive away. Scenic walks down to the river and along the pristine countryside will lead you to the neighbouring village of Grassington, brimming with boutique shops and pubs. Within a short drive Burnsall, Bolton Abbey and Ilkley can be discovered, with Kettlewell and Malham situated to the West. Many of the Yorkshire Dales' finest attractions are within driving distance, Skipton with its famous canals and high street market are well worth a visit. You can also venture through breathtaking countryside on foot or by bicycle, taking in some of the finest scenery in the country as seen in the Tour De France 2014. Threshfield is a small village in Upper Wharfedale bordering the nearby villages of Grassington, Linton, Hetton, Cracoe and Rylstone, home of the famous ‘Calendar Girls’. Threshfield is a thriving local community. A few minutes drive is Grassington, one of the most charming villages in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, where you will find traditional stone cottages, galleries, restaurants and shops, which are clustered around the cobbled market place, plus a monthly farmers' market provides a mouthwatering range of organic and homemade local produce. Visitors can experience the delight of both the Grassington Festival held in June and the Dickensian Festival during December – both well worth a visit. Situated on the River Wharfe, with the extensive Grass Woods to the north of the village, this is a superb walking area. Down dale is Bolton Abbey, the Priory and the famous “Strid Walk”, whilst a little further away is the elegant town of Ilkley, overlooked by the famous Ilkley Moor, plus up dale are Kettlewell and Buckden boasting spectacularly beautiful limestone scenery. With many other beauty spots scattered throughout Wharfedale, Threshfield provides a great base for exploring the local area and all that the Dales have to offer, with Brontë Country and York also being within easy motoring distance.

    It is beautifully decorated with all the furnishings and bed linen to a very high standard. The hosts have provided everything you require to make your stay enjoyable. The cottage is situated in a wonderful area giving access to numerous local walks and nearby Grassington. The welcome pack was greatly appreciated and we would definitely recommend this accommodation to friends and family.

    With an abundance of walking routs from the doorstep you also have a good pub, well stocked Spar shop and butcher along with the garage within 2 mins walk. Great place to explore the Yorkshire Dale's from and the hosts have just about thought of everything to make you more than comfortable. Highly recommended.
