Also, I noticed there was no mat for using inside the bath (safety). I reported these matters to Sykes, via the app, as the local office had closed by this time. It took Sykes 3 days to respond, but the issues were solved quickly, once the local office took over. I was quickly informed that the owner had removed the Dock & DvD player, & installed a smart Tv instead. That's fine, but please update the website details. The local office kindly dropped a new bath mat off at the apartment within 3 hrs of them being informed. I also came across at least 2 dirty glasses that needed washing. What I found that was missing, & would have been a nice touch... was a clock on the wall. I either had to keep my watch on, or keep it handy. Loved the secure wi-fi, & the comfortable mattress on the large bed. I still had uncomfortable nights, because I suffer from painful Spondylosis, so getting a comfortable pillow combination, was always going to be difficult. I found that the deadlock on the door, to be a tight fit, when locking/unlocking. Having to pull the door towards you, upon exiting, in order to be able to lock the door securely. I have rented an apartment lower down, for many years, with the same set-up... that was never tight to open & close. All in all, I was happy with my stay. The other apartment was unavailable to rent, for some reason, but even it returned, I would still choose this one. So I hope to return again, if my ageing body will allow. Hope the bath mat is still there.
