We travelled by train so bonus that the station wss minutes from the cottage. You can jump on a train and visit various places, skipton, settle, Saltaire to name a few. We meet the owners on the day of arrival and they were so welcoming and accommodating. As everyone has said before the cottage is lovely and cosy and Andrea had thought of everything you could possibly need, a lovely thoughtful welcome pack was awaitinlg us too. Facilities are excellent and theres a small courtyard with comfy table and chairs (cushions provided) and we even made use of the barbecue. The area is so quite and very relaxing. There are 2 pubs a short walk from the cottage, although we didn't get chance to visit. We enjoyed some walks from the cottage, although we didn't get chance to walk down by the river to skipton, which would have been nice. Having stayed at many Sykes properties we have awarded this top slot, we just loved everything about the cottage and area. Really hope we get the chance to go back. Thank you Andrea and Richard for a wonderful stay.

We had wonderful weather and many hours in The Snug garden reading and relaxing in the sun. Many wonderful walks including walking along the canal to Skipton. Practically perfect in every way!
